I’m extremely grateful to be your new Jefferson County weed coordinator and working with the SWCD. I grew up in Jefferson County in the Ag community, graduated from Madras High School in 2010 , and received my Bachelors of Agriculture Science from OSU in 2014 (Go Beaves), with a minor in business and animal science.  I was a crop advisor in  Central Oregon since 2017.   I have a son and daughter;  we enjoy all the outdoorsy things like fishing, all the sports, taking care of our animals and spending time with our amazing family.

This newly formed position is my dream job; I plan to be not only your weed coordinator, but SWCD staff member for a long time. My main focus is to control the noxious weeds in our area, but I also have a passion for soil, water, and crop health.
